DevOps

Quality pressure is one of the predominant factors affecting the application development processes during various phases. DevOps is one of the leading solutions to given complications. DevOps is a combination of different development and operations to its innumerable results in software development industries; thus, DevOps have attracted the interest of many researchers. The primary focus of DevOps is to increase the deployment speed, frequency, and quality, which is what Equilib is trying to achieve.

One of the main reasons for developing industries and businesses is software and the internet. In the modern era, the software doesn’t just support a business; it has become a backbone of any industry worldwide. It is used widely in our day-to-day activities, from entertainment to banking to a company’s management. For instance, the interaction between the companies and the customer takes place with the help of online services and applications and through different devices. Software technology also expands operational efficiencies by transforming every part of the value chain, such as logistics, communications, and operations.

Widespread but minor updates are one fundamental practice followed by Equilib. Using this methodology, Equilib can innovate faster for their clients. Equilib would make the frequent but slight upgrades to make each deployment less risky. It helps your team address bugs more quickly since they can identify the last deployment that caused the error. The procedure used by Equilib would help deliver faster give more reliable updates to our customers.

Automation

Some of the main objectives that SDLC (Software development lifecycle) Automation helps us achieve are minimum labor, time, cost, and maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency at the same time. It also helps set up environments faster using technology compared to the manual process.

Equilib believes that the key to automating the development phase of the process is to avoid manual coding through a low-code platform. Since we rely on manual input, we can’t optimize this phase at its best, unlike other stages in SDLC. But it’s supportive in static code analysis and software scalability in case of a hundred or thousand lines of code.

Another principal practice for development automation used by Equilib is version/source control which also influences test automation. It’s a procedure that guarantees upkeep of every single version of update of the code, achievable via free and open-source distributed software known as Git.

Git allows storing a project in a central repository that tracks the different code versions. Our team works with this tool, as it commits all the changes back into the principal repository after approval from the client.

Production Support

Production Support (also called Application Support) is like healthcare for technology. Equilib would ensure that all the systems and applications are running smoothly without errors or problems by deploying innovative solutions.

Phase 1 of production support is to find out the issues faced by the client. The technical lifecycle of software includes development, user acceptance testing, and production.  Production support teams mainly work in phases 2 and 3, and they must discover the solution to the given problems and work with development teams to make upgrades to the respective application or software.
